In Their Words Wednesday - and I have another Awesome Layout to show you!
I wanted to share a layout I first found on the
Gallery Standouts Blog - which, if you've never visited, is a wonderful recognition of scrapping and memory keeping from all over the digital community. It's been a great source of inspiration for me!
This layout, by
Danielle, is perfect in so many ways. She gets to the heart of life not always being pretty in her layout,
Disarray. But even in the not so pretty days, we can create beauty in the memory. I love how her journaling looks like it's a brush in the paper, and I love the brushwork and shadowing. It's an amazing layout.

While we love to celebrate the fun pretty stuff in our lives, sometimes it is good to remember that we had hard times, too, and we made it through (breaking into Barry Manilow's Made It Through The Rain).
Have a wonderful week...and remember - our memories are of happy and sad times, fun and not so fun times, wonderful and hard times. Share them all.
And a Happy Canada Day to all of our Canadian friends!
